Akshay Kumar is overjoyed as his niece, Simar Bhatia, prepares to make her Bollywood debut in 2025. The superstar shared his excitement with fans on Instagram, expressing his heartfelt emotions as he celebrated Simar’s milestone.

In a touching post, Akshay reflected on his own early career, recalling the thrill of seeing his photo on a newspaper cover.

However, he shared that the joy of witnessing his niece’s success surpasses that moment. He wished Simar Bhatia well, saying, “Bless you my baby, the sky is yours.”

Akshay also fondly remembered his late mother, imagining her pride in Simar’s achievement, and shared a newspaper clipping that announced her debut in the film ‘Ikkis’.

The heartfelt post quickly caught the attention of fellow actors, with Huma Qureshi and Rakul Preet Singh offering their support in the comments. Rakul shared red heart emojis, while Huma affectionately referred to Simar as “sim sim.”

Simar Bhatia’s debut film, ‘Ikkis’, is a war drama that tells the story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who posthumously received the Param Vir Chakra for his bravery.

The film also stars Agastya Nanda, grandson of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, and veteran Dharmendra.

Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the project is generating buzz for its compelling storyline and star-studded cast, though further details remain under wraps.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is gearing up for his own major release, ‘Sky Force’, ready to hit theaters on January 24, 2025.

The high-octane thriller, releasing just before Republic Day, sees Akshay in the role of an Indian Air Force officer on a mission of vengeance after the tragic loss of several soldiers. The film promises intense aerial combat and gripping action sequences, highlighting the courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers.

Akshay joins debutant Veer Pahariya and Sara Ali Khan, who plays Veer’s wife, in this action-packed narrative directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur.
